As a former North Carolina District Court Judge, Sean now focuses on representing clients involved in domestic and family disputes. While serving three terms on the bench in Mecklenburg County, Sean presided over cases involving child custody, support, equitable distribution, alimony, domestic violence, and divorce. Today, he applies that very judicial experience to counseling and advising clients confronting family challenges and separation. Having seen the legal process unfold in the courthouse every day, Sean possesses a unique understanding of the enduring emotional and financial effects of litigation upon individuals and families.
Sean is a Charlotte native and former Mecklenburg County Assistant District Attorney. He is the only former Mecklenburg County prosecutor and judge in North Carolina currently focused upon the practice of domestic relations law. Sean received a B.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree from Villanova University. He and Tonya are the proud parents of two young children. Sean has coached more youth baseball, soccer, and basketball teams than he can count, and can often be found trying to squeeze in a few hours of pickleball each week.
